Refund Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
We want you to be happy with Type 20 Plus. If it isn't for you, you can cancel anytime, and new subscribers can get their money back within 7 days.
Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription anytime from your Profile. You keep Type 20 Plus until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. Cancelling doesn't refund the current period on its own; see below for when you can get a refund.
When you can get a refund
- Your first payment: if you're not happy, ask for a refund within 7 days of your first payment for a monthly or yearly plan and we'll refund it in full.
- Yearly renewals: if your yearly plan renews and you meant to cancel, ask within 7 days of the renewal charge and we'll refund it in full.
- Charged by mistake: if you were charged twice or charged after cancelling, we'll refund the extra charge.
- If we end Type 20 Plus: we'll refund the unused part of the period you've paid for.
When refunds aren't given
- Monthly renewals, after the first month.
- Requests made after the 7-day windows above.
- Partial months or unused time after you cancel, except as described above.
- Accounts suspended for breaking our Terms of Service, except where the law requires a refund.
How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] from the email you sign in with, and tell us roughly when you were charged. We'll reply within a few business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, and your bank may take 5–10 business days to show it.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We can usually sort it out faster.
Your legal rights
If the law where you live gives you more rights, for example a cooling-off period in the EU or UK, those rights apply in addition to this policy.
